Adrian Polansky

Owner

Adrian was raised on the family farm, was active in 4-H and FFA, and has continued the seed business established by his father in 1941.

 

Adrian graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Agronomy. He has been honored as K-State's College of Agriculture's "Outstanding Young Alumnus" and subsequently recognized as a "Distinguished Alumnus." Adrian has served Kansas and U.S. Agriculture in numerous leadership roles in agricultural organizations and as Kansas Secretary of Agriculture.

 

Adrian and his wife Kris have 3 children and 5 grandchildren.

Adam has been involved in seed production and processing for 25 years. He has graduated from KSU in 2002 majoring in Agronomy with a Minor in plant pathology.

Adam is married to Sara and together they have 3 children AJ(12) Ayden (10), and Leia (2).

 

Pat Baxa

Sales Manager

Pat has been with Polansky Seed since 1985, working with Adrian producing, cleaning, and packaging seed on the family farm.  An engineering graduate from KSU and a life-long Republic County resident, Pat enjoys working with farmers and dealers around Kansas and Nebraska. 

In his free time, you’ll find Pat, his wife Candace, and their two sons Jerrick and Jared involved with baseball.

Kasey Kalivoda

Accountant

Kasey (Eickman) Kalivoda is the accountant at Polansky Seed.  Kasey grew up on a farm near Chester.  She graduated from Belleville High School and received a Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness from Kansas State University.  Kasey loves to sing at church and in her car, and she, her husband Kale, and their crazy dog Raven enjoy fishing and other outdoor activities.  Most weekends in the summer when Kasey is not at work, you will find her running the video camera at her husband and father-in-law’s mud racing events. 

 

Brett Grauerholz

Sales Agronomist

Brett Grauerholz is an area sales representative with Polansky Seed covering Nebraska and Iowa. Brett has been with Polansky Seed since January of 2015 while farming his family’s farm in his free time. He graduated from Kansas State University in 2011 with a Bachelor's of Science in Plant Sciences. He is married to Emily, whom when not busy with her CPA career helps run the family farm.

 

 

Ray Herold

Sales Agronomist

Ray has spent his entire life involved in agriculture as being born and raised on a farm, a mechanic and service manager for several implement dealerships, managed a seed business, and co-managed some big farm operations in Colorado and Nebraska  I have a passion for the seed business and the many people I meet.

 

 

Katelyn Brockus

Sales Agronomist

Katelyn Brockus grew up on a family cow-calf operation in Princeton, KS. She graduated from Kansas State University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science. She then went on to get her Master’s Degree at Mississippi State in Reproductive Physiology. Katelyn was recently engaged to Austin Durst and will be getting married in September. Austin works on the family farm and has recently invested in a farm of his own. Katelyn has a true passion for the cattle industry and enjoys visiting with both farmers and ranchers about crops and forages. 

 

 

Jason Budke

Logistics/Production Technician

Jason is a 2001 Kansas State University graduate with a bachelors in business management. Jason grew up on the family farm and to this day still helps with day to day operations. Jason enojys being outdoors camping, hunting, and fishing. 

When not busy Janson and wife Jama, love spending time with all four daughters.

Dakota Thompson

 Dakota has been with Polansky Seed for just over a year and is excited to be a vital role within the a growing company. Dakota grew up on a diversified family farm working with cattle and helping with the row crop operation. In his free time, Dakota enjoys turning wrenchs on vehciles or speding hours outdoors hunting, fishing, and anything on the family farm.

 

 

 

Nate Larkins

Farm Applicator

Nate heads up the Polansky farm chemical and fertilizer applications. Nate has been with the Polansky’s since 2005. Nate graduated from KSU in 2012 with a Ag Technology Degree. Nate married his wife Tiffany in 2016 and has a farming operation of his own.
